Welcome to the Approach Online Ltd website. By accessing our website, booking our facilities, lessons, workshops, or equipment, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. Definitions
- "Company" means Approach Online Ltd.
- "Customer" means any person making a booking or using our services.
- "Facilities" includes studio space, workshop space, classrooms, meeting rooms and any other hireable areas.
- "Equipment" includes all tools, machinery, technology, musical equipment, cameras, creative equipment and any other items supplied by Approach Online Ltd.
2. Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is confirmed once payment (or agreed deposit) has been received and confirmation has been sent by Approach Online Ltd.
The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring that all members of their group comply with these Terms & Conditions.
3. Payments
Payment must be made at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
All prices are displayed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Bookings cancelled more than 14 days before the booking date may receive a full refund.
Bookings cancelled within 14 days may be subject to a cancellation fee.
No refunds will be issued for failure to attend unless agreed at the discretion of Approach Online Ltd.
Approach Online Ltd reserves the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, customers will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
5. Use of Facilities
Customers agree to:
- Treat the premises with respect.
- Leave the space clean and tidy.
- Follow all instructions given by staff.
- Use facilities only for their intended purpose.
- Not exceed the maximum occupancy limits.
- Not undertake any illegal or dangerous activities.
Approach Online Ltd reserves the right to end any booking immediately if behaviour is unsafe, abusive, illegal or likely to cause damage.
6. Equipment Use
Some equipment may only be used following appropriate instruction or under staff supervision.
Customers must use all equipment safely and according to any guidance provided.
Equipment must not be removed from the premises unless written permission has been granted.
7. Damage, Loss and Liability
The person making the booking accepts full responsibility for all equipment, facilities and property used during their booking.
Any damage, loss, theft or excessive wear caused during the booking, whether by the customer or anyone attending under their booking, will be the responsibility of the person who made the booking.
Approach Online Ltd reserves the right to charge the booking holder for the full cost of repair, replacement or professional cleaning where damage occurs.
Where specialist or high-value equipment is damaged due to misuse, negligence or failure to follow instructions, the booking holder will be liable for all associated repair or replacement costs.
Customers should immediately report any faults, breakages or damage to a member of staff.
8. Health and Safety
Customers agree to comply with all health and safety instructions.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs may be refused entry without refund.
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult unless participating in a supervised session provided by Approach Online Ltd.
9. Lessons and Workshops
Lessons, workshops and training sessions begin at the scheduled time.
Late arrival may reduce the session length without entitlement to additional time or refund.
Tutors may refuse participation where behaviour is disruptive or unsafe.
10. Photography and Media
Approach Online Ltd may occasionally photograph or film activities for promotional purposes.
Consent will always be obtained where legally required.
Customers who do not wish to appear in photographs should notify staff before their booking.
11. Personal Property
Customers bring personal belongings at their own risk.
Approach Online Ltd accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property unless required by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above, Approach Online Ltd shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of its facilities or services.
13. Refusal of Service
Approach Online Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking where these Terms & Conditions are breached or where use of the facilities may present a risk to people, property or equipment.
14. Privacy
Personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
15. Changes to these Terms
Approach Online Ltd may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published on this website.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
